CD Projekt, the developer of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has announced that the Complete Edition of the game will be released on a physical disc for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S later this month. The Complete Edition was originally released digitally in December but now will be available on a physical disc starting January 26th in North America, Europe, and other regions around the world.
The Complete Edition includes the base game and its two paid expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, as well as 16 pieces of free DLC. It also features Performance and Ray Tracing modes, faster loading times, and other enhancements that take advantage of the increased power of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PlayStation 5 players will also get platform-specific features such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for the DualSense controller.
In addition to the new features and enhancements, the Complete Edition also includes a quest inspired by Netflix’s The Witcher series, updates such as new camera options, a photo mode, cross-platform progression, and fan-made mods. This will offer players a complete and immersive experience.
It’s worth noting that the announcement of the physical release of the Complete Edition is not the only recent news surrounding the Witcher franchise. Netflix’s The Witcher TV series has recently announced that Henry Cavill will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth as the title character.
The release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition on a physical disc later this month is a great opportunity for fans of the franchise to experience the game in a new way, with all the features and enhancements that take advantage of the increased power of the latest generation of consoles.
